Hello, my beloved friends!
I’m coming to you with a word that’s been stirring in my heart. Today, I want to dive deep into something the Lord has been teaching me from the book of James. You know, James is often referred to as the "New Testament Book of Wisdom," and let me tell you, it is full of guidance we all need to navigate this season.

There are two kinds of wisdom out there—one that leads you astray and one that leads you to God’s truth. James 3:14-15 tells us about that earthly wisdom, full of envy and strife. It’s devilish, it’s sneaky, and if you’re not careful, it’ll pull you off course. But, oh, beloved, the wisdom from above is pure, peace-loving, full of mercy, and brings righteousness!
As we walk through life, people will try to give you advice about relationships, your next move, or how you should live your life. But here’s the truth: if it doesn’t align with the wisdom of God, it's not for you. The enemy is crafty, and he’ll use any opportunity to get you off track. This is the season to stay the course! We’re making up for lost time, putting our past failures to work for us, and moving forward with God’s wisdom as our compass.
James 3:17-18 encourages us to be peacemakers, sowing the fruit of righteousness. Let me tell you, that fruit is sweet! It sets you apart in this world because it’s rooted in peace, not chaos. If you are a peacemaker, you are right where God wants you to be—righteous in His eyes.
So, I urge you today, beloved, don’t follow the wisdom of the world. Let God’s wisdom guide you. Surround yourself with people who are in the Word and listen to His voice. That’s how you move forward into the purpose God has for your life.
Let’s continue this conversation together!
Blessings,
Carol Copeland
